Appreciation Gifts

Finally, my friends wedding is over and the presents have given to her bridesmaids...

This time, I am not publishing my craft...but the hardwork of my friend, the bride, and also sharing her good ideas.

The wrapping was done by the bride...very nice, isn't it?
The boxes were bought from shop, but the color matching and the design was done by herself. A thank you message with the name of each bridesmaid, married date and the couple's name was print, cut and stick on the box. Nobody will forget the meaningful date if the box is kept properly. haha! The little bridesmaid (fridge magnet) was stick to a little metal at the back of the box...so that the little bridesmaid can be sticked nicely in the middle of the message...
She is putting all her effort and heart to wrap the gifts...The receivers sure very glad to receive them...
I like it!

Bridesmaids

Bridesmaids here...happily waiting the BIG day to come... to share new couple's happiness...
Five of them are to be given to my friend's bridesmaids as souvenier (fridge magnet). Her bridesmaids will be wearing red on her wedding day. Thus, all these bridesmaids are in red.
I made ten, for my friend to choose the best for her bridesmaids, since my craft is not so standardize and not profesional at all...hi hi...Hope that her bridesmaids will like this... ^_^

Playing With Clay Again...

Ha ha! I am making clay toy again...but still making bride la...

My friend's wedding is getting nearer... she want to give her bridesmaids a very special gift...after searching and searching...trying and trying... now, we want to consider clay toy again. We already thought of clay toy few months ago but gave up after that. The married couple that we made is not nice enough to be a gift...

This round we want to make bride fridge magnet. Hopefully we can success...

This is the sample that I refer to:
Very nice and cute, right? She is only 3.4 cm tall oh! Very mini...

Here...my first craft work...ha ha ha! shame shame...Totally different...she is not nice, still need to improve...
Second try...the size is correct...but...why getting worse???
Third try... tang tang tang tang! Much improved...but her dress...hmm!

Lucky Peach

Introducing two different peaches. Guess which is more expensive? The smaller one! Size is not the judging point here. Bigger one is not always more expensive. Smaller one is made with 玉线 (The string used to make Chinese Lucky Knots) while bigger one is just normal yarn. Anyway, which one you like? Ha ha! Keep to yourself, it is subjective.

Time spent to complete each lucky peach: 3 hours

Edited by Happy Craft at 8th March 2009:
Another lucky peach produced...born at 8th March 2009...

Swan

Another gift for wedding ...valentine also can...ha ha... Happy Valentine!!!

Lovely Bear

My friend felt that the couple is too difficult to make and we try to think of something else easier... thus, the lovely bear produced!! Yes! this is much more easier than married couple...

Bride

Next day, I taught my friend the way to make the bride and bridegroom and this one is produced...where is the bridegroom? I have brake the bridegroom into small pieces because I used him as my testing unit...I want to test whether the white glue I bought is strong enough. The conclusion is --- not strong!!!

Married Couple

My colleague is getting married this year, mid of 2009, and asking me to design and teach her to make a couple doll. Initially, she is thinking to make with beads, but I have suggested to her to make with clay becuase clay is much easier than beads...finally, I come out with this by taking 4 to 5 hours...However, this one is not that nice and cannot give to others as present. ha ha

Merry Christmas!!!

This is the Christmas gift that I gave to my colleagues this year...2008. I only managed to make about 30 pcs. Not enough to give to all colleagues so just gave to my dept and those asked from me. There are two types of design, one is join with button, which can stand (photo above) and the other one is handphone hanger (photo below).

Dragonfly

These dragonflies are made by cables. There is many colors of the cables as you can see in above photo.... These dragonflies are not for sell. I gave them to my ISO9001:2000 Internal Auditors as a token of appreciation. Thanks them for helping me to make my first Internal Audit (Jul 2008) successfull. Thanks!
